I have to start this review with a simple question: Who doesn't want a drone?! It has always been a hope of mine but I never actually thought that I would get one! I've always liked...

I have this strange obsession with bento boxes. This isn't the first one I've gotten and I'm certain it won't be the last! I just find them so much more fascinating than regular, American lunch boxes. I know, I know, fascination isn't the first thing I should looking for in a lunch box but I really do enjoy having something I like that is also very functional.

There is plenty of room for a meal in this bento box! Pretty much, you have three levels. You have the main, upper level that is divided. In a traditional bento, this is where the rice and main part of the meal would be put. Below that, you have a short layer where a matching set of plastic silver wear is kept. If you feel the need, you could put some type of food in here but it is a small area and I would suggest just putting a napkin in and using it for the cutlery. The bottom level is completely open. You can put anything there you want. I would suggest, however, if you have something with a lot of liquid in it, I would put it in the top layer because that layer is sealed with a silicone seal.

This bento box is very sturdy. Yes, it is made of plastic. It's not indestructible, but it is very sturdy. I can see it lasting for a very long time as long as it's not abused or purposely broken. All the pieces fit very well together and it is a very convenient product. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new lunch or bento box!

This review is going to be a little different for three reasons. One: I bought these together. Two: They are used together. Three: THEY BELONG TOGETHER! Ok, ok, let met explain. I received this duvet and duvet cover directly from the seller. They are one of the first sellers that I ever got a response from and they are AWESOME! I was completely blown out of the water when they offered me these two items! They have quickly become a favorite of mine and I want to show my love to them equally! Plus, if you buy them, you should totally buy them together because they fit together perfectly and are SO comfortable! Ok, now, I'll start answering questions.

Why did you call that a duvet? It's clearly a comforter!

In most ways, duvet and comforter are interchangeable words. In my research, I found that it looks like they are called a comforter in the United States and a duvet in the United Kingdom. But, doing a little more research, there are some differences. Yes, you can call this a comforter but it is a duvet. Duvet's are meant to be put inside a protective cover. They can be used alone but to keep them safe, it's a good idea to put a cover on them! Plus, duvet's have loops on their corners. That is so they can be tied to the duvet cover and not move around in it. Next question!

Ok, I get what a duvet is now... I think. But how do you get it in a cover?!

This is a little more complicated but just bare with me! This is how I did it and it worked perfectly! A duvet cover is something like a very big pillow case for a comforter, only it's a lot harder to put on and takes a little bit of practice. But it's very much worth it! First, you need to find the end that opens. This particular duvet cover is closed by buttons. So, find the buttons and open them. Then, flip
the duvet cover inside out, just like you would a pillow case when you're getting ready to put it on a pillow. Once you flip the duvet cover inside out, you will notice that it has ties in the corner. Those ties are there to allow you to tie the duvet cover to the comforter. The comforter will have loops on the corners for that purpose. Tie the two bottom corners and then begin to pull the cover up the comforter. This will take a little patience and time. Once you've
practiced, it will be much easier. Once you have the cover pulled up, tie the remaining two corners and tuck the comforter the rest of the way in. Then button it up and put it so that the side with buttons is at the bottom of your bed. You won't even be able to tell they're there after they're buttoned! And, that's all, you now have a protected duvet with a beautiful cover on it! Just remember, when it comes time to wash it, remove the cover! Don't put them in the wash together, that's asking for trouble!

Now that you see it all together. It's nice, huh? YEAH! It's nice! Let me tell you something about this set. It's not only beautiful, it is amazingly soft and comfortable. Sleeping this way is so much easier than sleeping with multiple covers and sheets on your bed! If you just get a few duvet covers, you'll be able to change the whole look of your bed without having the hassle of storing multiple, bulky comforters! When not in use, this duvet cover folds up to around the size of a bottom and top sheet stacked on top of each other. It's very convenient! Sometimes I want my bed to look very sophisticated and sometimes I want the wildest colors imaginable on it! Now, I can do that without having my wardrobe full of comforters! It's amazing!

But, these is one more thing we need to talk about. Washing these. Now, the duvet cover is fine. Wash it in cold water and tumble dry low and you'll be fine! What I want to talk to you about is the comforter. Now, you can wash and dry it at home. But, I suggest if you do wash this, you take it to a dry cleaner. Why? To keep it safe, to make sure it's not damaged and to extend its life! Most home washers and dryers are not built to wash something this big. I washed another comforter and ended up ripping it when it came out of the dryer. NOT FUN! If you do decide to wash it at home, use cold water and hang to dry whenever possible!

I have answered the questions and pointed out all the pros of these products. Don't you want them?! Don't you agree they fit and look amazing together?! They do, I know they do! So, just go up there and click those links and buy them! You'll stay so comfortable and toasty warm that you'll wonder why you didn't do it before! I seriously can't even put into words how much I love this duvet and duvet cover! You just have to find out for yourself! Click, buy, treat yourself!

More Pictures of the Awesomeness:

Wednesday, March 25, 2015

Ahh! I have wanted one of these since I first saw one on an infomercial! I remember just being it awe of what it could do and how convenient it was! I like convenient things. They just make life so much easier! Now I have one! You all just don't even know. I am so excited about this. As soon as I got it, I had it out of the box to test it. And trust me, that's something impressive. It was super early in the morning and I just wanted to go back to bed but I HAD to play with this first! It was amazing, really amazing. Let me tell you why!

This might just be the easiest kitchen tool in the world to use. It's safer than knives and faster too! All you do is put your onion on the blades and quite literally close the lid on it. And, tada! You have perfectly cut onions without tears and the risk of cutting yourself because you can't see! But, for those that are still worried about not operating it right, this product has very clear, picture instructions on the side of the box. As long as you use it correctly, you just can't get hurt. Your hands and fingers are never meant to come in contact with the blades. Well, unless you're changing them. If you are, just hold them by the edges and you'll be fine!

The only thing that disappointed me a little bit about this product was that it's not strong to cute potatoes. I love cutting potatoes up into little pieces and eating them raw. But, it's something that takes a lot of time, so I don't do it all that often. But! This chopper never claimed to be able too so it's not a fault with the product. It is made for onions and can cut other vegetables, fruits and cheeses! I would just keep it away from anything too hard. You don't want to damage it! After chopping your vegetables, it's as easy as putting the included lid on the container to store them!

Cleaning is also a breeze! Every part of this product is able to be taken apart and deep cleaned! I like this because I'm kind of a clean freak. I absolutely hate not being able to take parts apart and clean them. what if something gets stuck in there? Yuck! Overall, I love, love LOVE this chopper! I would buy multiples if I could and probably will when I have the chance! I would highly recommend you get yourself one! It's perfect for all cooks who are tired of standing and slowly chopping their vegetables, fruits and cheeses. It will make your life so much easier, just click that link right up there!

Leafholic Cute Silicone Tea Infuser with Drip Tray, Red

See?! I told you all that I was addicted to tea! Though, at the moment, I think I'm more addicted to tea infusers than tea! I just can't help it! I want all the cute animals! This one is from Leafholic, an AMAZING brand! This little monkey is just adorable! I was a little surprised to see its color when it came out of the box but, really, I didn't mind it. But, apparently, I'm not a very good reader or I would have already known that it was going to be another color!

You see, this infuser is like one of those old Christmas mugs. You know, the ones that show a snowy, cold scene when they're just sitting in the cupboard but suddenly have a warm, summery scene once you put hot liquid in them? Ohhh, I loved those mugs when I was a kid! It was like magic to me, I didn't understand how it worked. To be truthful, I still don't, but I know it's not magic! This monkey tea infuser does the same thing. Its face changes from a very dark red to a bright red as it sits in the warm water. Unfortunately, the water I used wasn't quite warm enough to completely change it. I was brewing herbal tea so I didn't want to burn it. But, you will be able to see a difference in the pictures I post!

The tea from this infuser is just perfect. It didn't let any of the tea leaves escape, which some infusers I've had before have done and it was steeped just right. I've been drinking so much more tea recently because of getting these infusers but I don't regret it a bit! The drip tray is really useful too. Usually I have to grab a ramekin in order to set my tea infuser aside to cool. I'm really glad that this came with it's own drip tray so I don't have to do that! It all comes in a resealable bag so you won't have to worry about the two pieces being separated from each other! That's very good for me because I am... accident prone and often lose things.

And lastly, washing this tea infuser is a breeze! I just rinsed it off because I knew I would be using it again very soon but, if you're going to store it, I suggest just cleaning it with some soap and water and letting it dry thoroughly before putting it away! Overall, this tea infuser is awesome! I can't wait to be able to get more products from this company! I would definitely recommend that you go buy one. Go ahead, just click the link up there. You won't regret it, I promise!

A French Press! I knew that when this came up, I just HAD to get it! Don't ask me why, really. I've never seen one before, never used one before and, truthfully, had NO IDEA how to operate one! But, I was lucky enough to receive one and have, after one use, fallen in love with it.  I haven't made anything more than coffee in it yet but it's just... such a different experience. It will really make you feel sophisticated and I think that's half the draw of it.

Ok, first, I'm going to get all the technical stuff out of the way. This is on the box but, if you were ever curious about how to use one of these, keep reading. This is how to operate this french press, I do not promise this will work with ALL french presses but I can't think that they would be much different.

This french press is very easy to use, however. You just need to follow a few steps. First, heat your water. I heated mine in my tea kettle. While the water is heating, remove the plunger from the carafe and measure out your coffee or tea. Do not put the plunger back in at this point. Once your water is heated, leave it sitting for 15 seconds. After that, fill your carafe to an inch below the top, pretty much where the stainless steel band is. You need to stir your coffee or  tea for 15 seconds before leaving it to steep or brew. That is so the coffee or tea will mix with the water. After that you put the plunger back on top of the carafe but DO NOT push it down yet. Leave your drink to brew or steep, 2 to 3 minutes for coffee and 1 to 7 minutes for tea. After that, you slowly push the plunger down to separate the drink and grounds and you're ready to drink!

The coffee that I made was a little... okay, a LOT strong but I had followed directions... almost. See, I accidentally put in heaping teaspoons and not regular teaspoons. Don't make my mistake! Still, my parents drank it! They said, besides being strong, it was very good, smooth and rich. It's not as convenient as a regular coffee maker but it makes better quality coffee, even using the same grounds you use in your coffee maker! But, I would suggest not leaving the extra of your coffee or tea sitting too long. Even though you've pushed the plunger down, the coffee and tea is still brewing and steeping. If you were to, say, come back to it in an hour, it might just be a LOT stronger than you intended it to be.

No, that's not said from personal experience.

The only thing I surprised about was that I thought the plunger would go all the way to the bottom of the carafe. It doesn't. It stops around an inch above it. That doesn't really matter but it's just something to know. Cleaning this french press is very easy! It only took me a couple minutes. Just use soap and water to clean off the grounds or tea and leave it out to dry. The last thing I want you to keep in mind is that this french press says it makes 8 cups. It makes 8 FOUR OUNCE cups, meaning it really makes 4 cups. But, the box does clearly say that their cups are based on a four ounce serving size so it is NOT false advertising, it's just something to keep in mind.

Overall, I really love this french press! It's a wonderful product and makes delicious coffee! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a french press! Go ahead and click that link up there and get one, you're only a couple days away from a better coffee and tea drinking experience!
