Danish Dough Whisk Large 13.5 Dutch Style Stainless Steel with Wooden Handle

Ok, I'll admit it, I had ZERO idea what a danish dough whisk was used for when I first purchased it. The reason I actually purchased was because of my mother. My mother collects every little kitchen gadget, accessory and appliance that she can find and I had never seen one of these danish dough whisks before. It was meant to be a display piece when I first bought it. But, then I tested it. It's definitely not going to be just a display piece.

I was actually shocked with how well this danish dough whisk works. I've always been a kitchenaid user but some doughs, especially gluten free ones, need a lighter touch than the kitchenaid can give them. I've used hand whisks before but they're just so annoying to get clean and stop from bending when you have a particularly thick dough. I don't know if I always got flimsy ones or what but they eventually became useless and I just ended up using my hands! With this whisk, I didn't have to do that! It worked the entire time and mixed my dough perfectly!

This whisk is made very, very sturdily. The actual whisk part of it is stainless steel and much thicker than any whisk you'll buy at the store. It's securely attached to a wooden handle that is the perfect size to hold onto and move the whisk through thick doughs. For an item I intended to use as a display piece, I am finding this more useful than I ever imagined! I would highly recommend it to anyone that makes their own dough, it will make your life so much easier!
