If you're someone like me, you collect plastic, grocery store bags for no other reason than it's just something that's always been done in your house. Personally, I don't really use them for anything but I keep them anyway. The only time I really use them is when I make my dads lunch and that's once a week. However, they are useful for that so I keep around. When I was younger, my grandmother kept her plastic bags in an old milk container with a circle cut out of it. I wanted something a little classier than that.
I definitely got that in this oval organizer. It looks very, very nice. Compared to an old milk jug, it's absolutely amazing. It's not hard to use. It's just something to hold plastic bags, after all. All you do is stuff them in and that's that. You don't have to even open and close a complicated latch. But, putting it together was a little bit of an adventure for me. All it does is latch together. It comes flat, you curve it and push the pieces together. In theory, it's very simple.
But, as I said, I have a little bit of an adventure. When I first put together my oval organizer, I could not get it to stay together. It kept popping open on me. I had no idea what I was doing wrong so it was frustrating. I still can't tell you what I was doing wrong but, now, it stays together with absolutely no problem and I don't have to worry about it coming apart. To tell you the truth, I tried to pull it apart to take a picture of it flat and could not get it to come apart. So, that bodes well for the product!
I was disappointed with the suction cups, however. When I got this product, I put it right up on the side of my fridge and I was very happy with it... until it fell down. I don't know if I got a bad set of suctions cups or what but I can't get mine to stay up, no matter what I suction them to. I've tried the fridge, the back door, even a window and, always, eventually, it will fall. But, this organizer does come with a mounting set too. So, if you have the same problem that I did, I would definitely recommend using them!
Another thing that you need to keep in mind is that this organizer is very big. I expected it to be around the size of a Pringles can... and I was wrong. In one of my pictures, I had a helper hold up a bottle of sweet and sour sauce to show a size comparison. It really is that big. Just read the product description and really make sure that this product will fit where you want it to go. Overall, I believe this oval organizer is a four star product. It's something that is very useful but it seems like it could have been better thought out to me.
